The prime minister is expected to urge peers to allow his Rwanda bill to complete its passage through parliament.
Weeks of parliamentary back-and-forth, known as “ping pong”, have seen the House of Lords repeatedly amend the legislation in ways the government refuses to accept.

On Friday, the prime minister warned peers that “Everyone’s patience with this has run thin, mine certainly has”.
Taking questions from the media after a speech on welfare in central London, he continued: “So our intention now is to get this done on Monday. No more prevarication, no more delay. We will sit there and vote until it’s done.”
“We’re going to get this bill passed, and then we will work to get flights off so we can build that deterrent, because that is the only way to resolve this issue.”
The government has vowed to keep parliament sitting late into the night if necessary to pass the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill, which it sees as vital to the PM’s pledge to “stop the boats”.
Downing Street is reported to be hostile to the idea of making concessions to secure the passage of the bill, leading to a deadlock with the Lords.
Sunak labelled the bill “emergency legislation” when it was first brought forward after the supreme court ruling on the scheme last year. However, parliamentary debate has stretched over more than four months, delaying migrant deportation flights from taking off.
