The grand finale in Ahmedabad
The summit clash of CWC 2023 between India and Australia is scheduled for November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, marking their second-ever encounter in the ODI World Cup final, the first being in 2003.
India topped the points table, winning all nine group stage matches and securing a spot in the final with a 70-run victory over New Zealand in the first semi-final at Wankhede, Mumbai.
Australia, despite initial setbacks, won seven consecutive matches, finishing third on the table with 14 points, and booked their place in the final by winning the second semi-final against South Africa by three wickets at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
