Anti-maskers just won’t learn. Since the start of the pandemic, videos of anti-maskers resorting to violence when asked to wear a mask, licking items at grocery stores, and coughing on customers have circulated through social media.

While one would hope these incidents were becoming less common, given how far along in the pandemic we have come, they are not. In a recent incident that went viral on social media, a maskless woman was caught coughing on shoppers in a Nebraska grocery store. An indoor mask mandate was in place at the time.

The incident, which occurred on Friday, prompted social media users who saw the video to call on authorities to cite the woman for violating the county-wide mask mandate. As of this report, the video has more than four million views on Twitter. In it, a woman identified as 54-year-old Janene Hoskovec can be seen following a mother-daughter duo throughout a Super Saver in Lincoln in order to deliberately cough on them.

The video was first posted to Reddit on Sept. 3 under the title "Anti-Mask Karen Deliberately Coughing on me at South 27th Super Saver."

Jessabird, the Reddit poster, noted she was with her child at a supermarket in Nebraska when the woman allegedly approached them and asked why they were wearing masks. “She asked if I’ve had a vaccine and said that my kid and I don’t need to wear masks because we look young and healthy. There were several other people around wearing masks, but for some reason, she chose to pick on me and my kid,” Jessabird wrote.

In the video, Hoskovec is seen not only coughing at the woman but can also be heard telling other shoppers they are "such sheep" and that she doesn't need to wear a mask: "I'm not sick and neither are you." She continues to claim it's her allergies that are making her cough when it is evident that she is fake coughing.

The unidentified woman who posted the video also noted on Reddit that Hoskovec continued to follow her around the store after the original confrontation despite an employee intervening. "I then tried to continue my shopping, but this lady followed me around the store. I told her she needs to keep her distance and that her coughing on me was assault," she said.

"She laughed and kept saying: 'Look at you, it's so cute how scared you are!' By this time I was absolutely livid, trying my best to hold it together in front of my kid. I didn't finish my shopping, instead I went to the self checkout to pay for my stuff. Next she followed me to use the self checkout right next to mine," she added. "I informed the employee manning the checkouts that this woman had assaulted me in the store by coughing deliberately on me, but I didn't wait around to see what the employee would say in response. I just really wanted to get us the heck out of there."

According to the city of Lincoln, where the store is located, a mask mandate requires all people over the age of two to cover their faces indoors, despite whether or not they are vaccinated. The mandate follows COVID-19 data which indicates the county is considered “high risk of COVID-19 spread and impact in the community.”

After seeing the footage, Reddit and Twitter users are not the only ones who reacted. When the clip went viral it came into the view of German software company SAP, who the coughing Karen reportedly worked for. After users reported the woman to SAP through Twitter, the company noted it would investigate the incident and later announced Wednesday that Hoskovec had been let go.

We have reviewed the incident and can confirm that the individual in question no longer works for SAP.

But SAP isn’t the only company that has fired a conservative crazy this week. In an unrelated incident, a Colorado man was fired from his job after harassing women at the beach. While Karen in Nebraska had an issue with people wearing masks, this man apparently had an issue with people not wearing enough to the beach. I’m sorry since when was it okay for a random man to police women’s clothing?

In the viral videos first posted to Tik Tok then later to Twitter, a man identified as Logan Dorn can be seen harassing the young group of girls who were minding their own business. He claimed their bathing suits were inappropriate and children shouldn’t have to look at such "pornography."

"Why do you dress this way?" he said. "That's a thong and that's a bra."

When the girls tried to defend themselves being at the beach in their bathing suits, he continued to harass them, accusing them of “flaunting your stuff," and saying, “Look around, you're the only thing that sticks out because your whole body is showing."

The girls told him not to look at them and to walk away, yet he persisted. He replied, "If men of God don't stand up, then our society's going to go down the drain because there's no morality."

But that’s not all. He continued with his harassment and religious references. "There's going to come a day when you come face to face with God," he said. In response, the women too referenced the Bible and told Dorn to "gouge his eyes out.”

"Mia and eight other friends headed down to the water in Fort Collins, Colorado, when they were approached by a man, later identified as LOGAN DORN...During the interaction there's a chorus of 'please go away,' 'why are you looking at me'..."https://t.co/XvPQOf1hHQ pic.twitter.com/qHJu8cfCsM

Apparently social media helped identify the man and that’s how the news reached his employer, which later issued a statement on his termination.

But of course that all didn’t matter to him. He continued to defend his behavior and refused to apologize. In a Tik Tok video of his own, Dorn said at that moment "righteous anger to defend and protect young eyes” compelled him to continue harassing strangers at the beach.
