Prime minister Boris Johnson faced his final prime minister’s questions this afternoon in which he defended his legacy and party while Labour leader Keir Starmer took aim at his potential successors.
About the Conservative party, Starmer told the House of Commons that “they got us into this mess and they’ve no idea how to get us out of it”.
Johnson took fire at Starmer for one last time, questioning whether he is known for any policies other than increasing tax and labelling him a “pointless plastic bollard”.
