Wicket-keeper batter Quinton de Kock, who recently announced his retirement from Test cricket, has also been picked. Promising young seamer Marco Jansen has received his maiden call-up for the ODIs, but the hosts will miss the services of Anrich Nortje. The right-arm pacer continues his rehabilitation after being ruled out from the ongoing Test series due to a hip injury.
“This is a very exciting group and the Selection Panel and I are eager to see what they will produce,” CSA Convenor of Selectors, Victor Mpitsang said in his official statement.

We are looking forward to seeing what they bring to the table and wish Temba (Bavuma) and Mark (Boucher) all the best for the series,” added Mpitsang.
