The best antidote to hot takes is hard data, and the latest Daily Kos/Civiqs poll is here with your cure. This survey of 1,464 registered voters was conducted online from May 8-11 and finds that most Americans support President Joe Biden’s proposal to provide free pre-kindergarten for all three and four year olds (61%) and two years of tuition-free community college for all (55%). To fund new government programs, 51% of Americans support raising taxes on corporations, and 52% support raising taxes on individuals who make over $400,000.

Just 6% of frequent Fox News viewers support raising taxes on corporations to fund new government programs, versus 51% of Americans overall.

- More than one in 10 (12%) of Americans have moved or plan to move because of the COVID-19 pandemic, including 19% of Americans aged 18-34.
