Batting first, Australia reached 328/7 at stumps on Day 1 with Ellyse Perry being the top-scorer.
Perry was looking well set en-route to her impressive century.
However, the Aussie star was unfortunately dismissed on 99 falling one short of what could be a tremendous ton.
Perry became only the fourth women cricketer to be dismissed on 99.

Perry faced 153 deliveries to score 99 runs before Lauren Filer dismissed the Aussie star.
