England set to come to India with their personal chef
According to a report by the Telegraph, England will bring their chef to India alongside the team. The chef will join the squad before the first clash and will be responsible for taking care of the players’ nutrition. English management intends to bring their own cook to prevent their players from falling ill in a seven-week-long tour to the Asian nation.
“England will take their own chef on tour to India later this month to try and avoid players falling ill during the seven-week trip. The chef will join the squad in Hyderabad before the first Test on January 25 in an attempt to keep on top of the players’ nutrition,” The Telegraph quoted in an article.
Virender Sehwag’s savage reaction:
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag reacted to this peculiar development, taking a jibe by cheekily saying that England needed a cook following the departure of their former captain, Alastair Cook, from the squad. It is worth noting that the stalwart left-handed batter bid farewell to International cricket in 2018.
“Yeh zaroorat Cook ke jaane ke baad padhi. IPL mein nahi padegi,” Sehwag wrote on X.
