England and Ireland with square off with each other in an only Test match series at the iconic Lord’s cricket Ground in London over the next five days. The match will begin on Thursday, June 1.

It is the first Test of the English summer and Ben Stokes’ team will look to start on a winning note.

Ireland, who made their Test debut in 2018, haven’t played too many red-ball games since then. The Irish men toured England once in 2019 for a one-off Test, where the tourists faced a 143-run defeat. Though the Ireland pacers bundled out the home team for a paltry 85 on the opening day, the Irish batters surrendered on just 38 in the second innings.
