The Super Giants have completely changed the colour of their kit and will be seen playing the 2023 season of the league in almost a brand-new avatar. The KL Rahul-led franchise wore a greenish-blue colour in 2022, and now they have gone to a dark blue shade.

The BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka, captain Rahul and team mentor Gautam Gambhir were all present at the event where the franchise unveiled their new jersey. The Lucknow-based franchise also hosted a fashion show which was attended by cricketers such as Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Jaydev Undakat and Deepak Hooda.
The Super Giants had an impressive debut last year as they reached the playoffs. LSG finished third in the points table and did well under Rahul’s leadership, winning nine of 17 games. They were beaten by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a high-scoring eliminator clash at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.

For the unversed, RPSG Group had successfully bought the Lucknow-based franchise for a whopping INR 7,090 crores. They also went big in the mega auction by roping in key players like Rahul and Marcus Stoinis, for INR 17 crores and INR 9.2 crores, respectively. Not only this, ahead of the upcoming season, they spent a whopping INR 16 crore on Nicolas Pooran in the mini-auction.
