However, he overstepped on the next ball although he managed to recover with a dot delivery. On the fifth ball, Lewis survived a potential dismissal as the fielder collected the ball on the bounce.
After five balls, Malik had given away just five runs, needing to finish the over well. Unfortunately, he overstepped again. Despite no runs off the free-hit delivery, Lewis secured a boundary on the subsequent legitimate ball. Malik’s struggles continued as he overstepped once more, and on the final ball of the over, Lewis smashed a massive six over long-off. The Pakistani all-rounder conceded 18 runs in the over, and the Khulna Tigers swiftly reached the fifty-run mark in just four overs while chasing the target of 188.

Lewis, capitalizing on Malik’s struggles, seized the opportunity to launch an aggressive counterattack. The momentum gained from the dramatic over saw Lewis smashing five sixes and accumulating an impressive 53 runs from just 22 balls. Following this challenging over, Malik didn’t get another chance to bowl. The Tigers, fueled by Lewis’s explosive batting, comfortably chased down the target of 188 with two overs to spare and eight wickets in hand.
