The Team of the Tournament for the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 2021-22 has been announced. The special XI features some of the top performers who shined in the competition, which has been headlined by COVID outbreaks and record-breaking feats.

The editorial team from Cricket.com.au have picked their best BBL team of the current season. Factors like economy rates, strike rates and contributions towards victories have been taken into consideration. Notably, a limit of three overseas players has been followed while selecting the best XI. Further, two X-factor players have also been selected for the team.

Highest run-getter Ben McDermott and leading wicket-taker Peter Siddle have been named in the side. Moises Henriques has been picked as captain to lead the special XI.
