India batting star Virat Kohli along with captain Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Mohammed Siraj made a significant gain in the latest released ICC Men’s ODI Player rankings.

In the first ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten ton and helped India win the game by 67 runs. Skipper Rohit also played a decent knock of 83 in the opening match. Following his remarkable performance, Kohli and Rohit made noticeable gains in the ODI rankings and reached 6th and 8th position, respectively.

Apart from this, Siraj jumped four spots to the 18th position in the bowling charts. The 28-year-old had picked two wickets in the first game against the Islanders.

On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav retained his throne and remained at the top spot in the recently updated T20I rankings for batters. In the last T20I against Sri Lanka, Yadav scored a spectacular 112 (51) to guide India to a series-clinching victory.

Talking about the all-rounder’s category, Shakib al Hasan maintained his numero uno position followed by Mohammad Nabi and Hardik Pandya at 2nd and 3rd spot, respectively.

Wanindu Hasranga lost his top spot to Rashid Khan in the bowler’s rankings of the shortest format.

In Tests, Josh Hazelwood has made it to the top 10 as he took five wickets against South Africa in Sydney. However, Pat Cummins still remains to be the top-ranked bowler.

Usman Khwaja reached the 8th spot in the batters list following his 195 against the Proteas. While Marnus Labuschagne continued his reign at the top.

Tom Latham and Devon Conway have also shown gain following their performance in Pakistan’s recently concluded Test series.
