Indian captain Shikhar Dhawan had a fun time with his teammates after the dominating victory in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against South Africa on Tuesday.

The Men in Blue defeated the Proteas by seven wickets in the deciding third ODI at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium to clinch the three-match series 2-1.

After the match, Dhawan led the celebrations in the Indian dressing room, where he could be seen dancing to Daler Mehndi’s popular song “Bolo ta ra ra” with other members of the side.

Speaking about the game, the hosts won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Indian bowlers justified Dhawan’s decision right by packing South Africa for just 99 runs.

Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav had a memorable night with the ball as he picked up a brilliant four-wicket haul while other bowlers, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj and Shahbaz Ahmed, bagged two wickets apiece.

In reply, Shubman Gill‘s 49-run knock kept India in the driver’s seat in the paltry chase as the home team finished proceedings in 19.1 overs with seven wickets in hand.

“I am proud of the boys, the way they played in the series. The way they carried the responsibility and showed maturity. Would like to thank the support staff. We showed a lot of character in the first game, we dropped a few catches, but we never really put pressure on ourselves. We tried to stick to the process. I am enjoying the journey, I’ll try to keep performing well for my team. The boys showed great character on such tough batting pitches. The bowlers were clinical today,” said Dhawan in the post-match presentation.
