The victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) over Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was a spectacular sight for the local fans. The final score showed that RCB won the match with 8 wickets to spare, ending the game in just 22 balls. The opening partnership between Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli was a major highlight of this victory, with the duo scoring 143 runs together. Kohli’s exceptional batting performance of 82 not out in just 49 deliveries sent his fans into a frenzy.

Right from the start of the run chase, RCB asserted their dominance over MI. Despite the presence of top-notch bowlers like Jofra Archer and Jason Behrendorff, Faf and Virat showed great courage and played aggressively. Although every bowler was hit around the park, except for Piyush Chawla, the duo managed to maintain their composure and kept scoring at a good rate. The partnership between Faf and Virat laid a solid foundation for RCB’s eventual victory.

Reacting to Bangalore’s thumping win over Mumbai, Kohli’s fangirl Ameesha Basera took to Instagram to share a series of stories from the match.
