Moreover, IPL 2023 is expected to be a special edition of the tournament as it will revert to its original format of home and away games, which was last seen in the 2019 season. The last three editions were either held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or on select venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, several new rules will be implemented for the first time in the history of the tournament, further adding to the excitement for the fans.
