Rajasthan Royals (RR) will square off against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 11th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium on Saturday (April 8) in the afternoon.

Although RR lost their last game to Punjab Kings (PBKS) by five runs, they still sit at the fourth position in the points table with a win that they registered against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their opening match. On the other hand, Delhi has lost both the matches that they played in the league and are yet to open their account. Notably, DC’s last match was against Gujarat Titans (GT), in which they suffered a six-wicket defeat.

RR’s batting has emerged out to be their main strength in the tournament so far, while the Delhi-based side failed to impress in any of the departments. However, the Royals will miss the services of Jos Buttler, who is likely not to play the match against DC due to a finger injury.

Pitch report:

Considering the batter-friendly nature of the pitch, yet another high-scoring match is expected to take place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. The venue will provide assistance to the spinners as well.
