IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants are undergoing significant changes in their coaching staff, preparing for the upcoming season. In a noteworthy development, Justin Langer, the former Australian batter, has taken over from the previous coach Andy Flower.

Meanwhile, the franchise has witnessed the departure of their mentor and former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir, who has joined his former team Kolkata Knight Riders. Now, Suresh Raina has been rumoured to be joining the Lucknow-based franchise to fill the void left by Gambhir.

How scenarios unfolded?

The latest update emerged when a fan shared a rumour about Raina potentially joining LSG as a mentor. However, a senior journalist retweeted the post, discrediting the speculation. Interestingly, the former Indian cricketer responded to the post, delivering a sarcastic comeback to the journalist by questioning the accuracy of the news, stating, “Why? Your news can’t be right all the time?,” in his response on X. His witty reply added a touch of humour to the situation, highlighting the ongoing banter between players and the media in the world of cricket.

Why ? Your news can’t be rite all the time ?
