Ishan and Smriti’s performance in the game

Smriti and Ishan showcased their quick thinking, securing notable ₹12.5 lakhs as the prize money. Demonstrating their competitive spirit, they wisely decided to conclude their journey on the show with question number 13, which carried a tempting prize of ₹25 lakhs. Despite their commendable performance, the duo found themselves at a juncture where they lacked the answer and had already exhausted all three of their valuable lifelines.

Cricketers use two lifelines on question related to Sachin

The 12th question, which proved to be the final one for Smriti and Ishan, was a cricket-related query with a prize of ₹12,50,000 at stake. The question revolved around the intriguing fact of which Indian cricketer made his Test debut in the match where Sachin Tendulkar notched his first international century.

Presented with options including Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Sourav Ganguly, and Javagal Srinath, the cricket duo initially sought assistance through the “Call a Friend” lifeline. The friend suggested Srinath, but with lingering doubts, Smriti and Ishan decided to play it safe and utilized their final lifeline, granting them a second chance if their initial answer proved incorrect. The initial attempt, choosing Srinath, turned out to be wrong. Undeterred, on their second try, the duo corrected their course and provided the correct response: Kumble.
