KL Rahul has been named India’s Test vice-captain for the upcoming three-match Test series against South Africa. Rahul replaces Rohit Sharma as Virat Kohli’s deputy, with Rohit being ruled out of the red-ball leg owing to a hamstring injury.

Though Rahul missed the recent home Test series versus New Zealand due to a muscle strain, he has already been primed by captain Kohli to open the innings in South Africa alongside Mayank Agarwal, who was among the runs against the Black Caps.

Meanwhile, the Indian team landed in South Africa on Friday morning. The players have also started warming up by playing footvolley which has now become a Team India sport.

How did #TeamIndia recharge their batteries ahead of their first training session in Jo'Burg? ?
