The middle-order’s failure to perform left them unable to complete the chase against the World Giants. Aussie pacer Brett Lee played a pivotal role in the final over, limiting the Maharajas to just two runs short of their target.

Lee’s impressive last over was the final blow to the Maharajas’ chances.
