MI Cape Town announces leadership change for SA20 new season
In Rashid’s absence, MI Cape Town has appointed the talented all-rounder Kieron Pollard as the captain for the upcoming edition. This decision marks another chapter in the enduring partnership between the West Indian stalwart and the MI franchise, dating back to his impactful stint during the Indian Premier League (IPL)’s prime.
Pollard stands as one of the most celebrated players in MI’s history, having represented the Mumbai-based side for an impressive 13 years. Over this period, he accumulated 3412 runs in 189 games and claimed 69 wickets. Remarkably, his association with the franchise continues even after retiring from the Indian spectacle.
