It all happened on the last ball of the 48th over bowled by Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed. The right-arm fast bowler delivered a brilliant yorker, and Adil Rashid hit the ball with the middle of his bat.
Clearly, the white leather ball was not even close to the pads. However, the Bangladesh skipper still opted to take the review. No wonder the on-field decision stood, and after which, the Bangladesh captain was trolled mercilessly by the fans.
“Bangladesh walon ki nazar buhut ziada kamzor hai pehly bhi aisi reviews li hai en logo ne,” one of the fans wrote.
“What prize do Bangladesh get for making the worst LBW review call in the history of cricket?” another fan wrote.

Speaking about England’s innings, the tourists lost three wickets for 96 in 20.1 overs after being asked to bat first. But soon opening batter Jason Roy and captain Jos Buttler took charge and changed the momentum of the game.
The pair took Bangladesh bowlers to the cleaners and formed a scintillating 109 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Buttler was dismissed for a well-made 76 off 64 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.
Roy, meanwhile, continued the attack from the other end and smashed a sensational century. The explosive batter went on to score 132 off just 124 balls, helping England reach 326/7 in their allotted 50 overs. All-rounder Moeen Ali also chipped in with a valuable contribution of 42 (35), including three fours and a couple of maximums.
