A member of the Loyalist Communities Council has said that violence is not “off the table” with regards to the Northern Irish protocol.
Speaking at the parliamentary Northern Ireland affairs committee, Joel Keys said: “I’m not sure if and when violence will be the answer, I’m just saying that I wouldn’t rule it off the table.”
A clearly surprised Simon Hoare, chair of the committee, said it was an “incredibly worrying and dispiriting answer.”
