Team India’s fast bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur got hitched to his fiancée Mittali Parulkar on Monday (February 27), becoming the third well-known Indian cricketer to marry this year after KL Rahul and Axar Patel.

For the big day, Shardul sported an embroidered beige-toned sherwani, while Mittali wore an all-red bridal lehenga. Needless to say, the couple looked absolutely breathtaking at their traditional Marathi wedding.

Meanwhile, on the cricketing front, Shardul will play for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the forthcoming season of the IPL. He was traded to KKR by the Delhi Capitals ahead of the mini-auction.

The 31-year-old has previously represented the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the now defunct Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). He will soon join his India teammates for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia.
