The Department for Education is encouraging schools across the UK to mark One Britain, One Nation day on Friday 25 June with a song.
Featuring a chorus with the words “Strong Britain, Great Nation”, the anthem was written by school children at St John’s CE primary school in Bradford.
We're encouraging schools across the UK to celebrate One Britain One Nation Day on 25 June, when children can learn about our shared values of tolerance, kindness, pride and respect.#OBONDAY21 @1Britain1Nation

The day is designed to celebrate multicultural Britain and the values of “tolerance, kindness, pride, respect.”
But the DfE’s tweet encouraging schools to participate was mocked, drawing comparisons with North Korea and Nazi Germany’s Hitler Youth.
It also drew mirth for taking place after schools in Scotland had broken up for summer.
