Michigan State officials are apologizing after an image of Adolph Hitler was shown during the football pre-game.

Michigan State apologized Saturday night, saying it was “deeply sorry” for displaying a giant image of Adolf Hitler on its video board during a trivia segment that preceded its home game earlier in the day against Michigan.


The image was posted during a pregame trivia segment after a question asking where Hitler was born as fans were arriving for the game against the No. 2 Wolverines. The school said that the segment was provided by a “third-party source.”
