KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are one of the most popular celebs in showbiz. The couple often embarks on travel escapades and is spotted chilling together in the city of dreams, Mumbai. They don’t post pictures on social media very often, but they take the internet by storm when they do. The duo often makes waves with their fashion statements together. While the lovebirds have been dating for a long time, they have been tight-lipped about their marriage.

Now, there is good news for those fans who have been anticipating their wedding announcement.

The Team India opener and his actress girlfriend will start the new year with a bang, as they are set to exchange their wedding rings in January 2023.

Suniel Shetty, veteran actor and Athiya’s father, has revealed that he is looking at the possible dates as his family members have to consider the schedules of both Athiya and Rahul before planning out for the big occasion.

“Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will it (wedding) happen,” Suniel told Hindustan Times. “I guess at the right time, everyone will know [details about the wedding],” he added.

As per the reports, Rahul and Athiya are planning to ditch 5-hotels for their wedding. Instead, the much-in-love couple has chosen to tie the knot at Suniel’s mansion, Jahaan, in Khandala. A famous wedding organizer has frequently been visiting the actor’s lavish house to finalize the decorations and other arrangements.
