Trent Rockets (TRT) will square off with Southern Brave (SOB) in the first match of The Hundred Women’s Competition 2023.

Last year, both teams successfully qualified for the knockout stages but fell short of winning the title.

This year, the Trent Rockets will be under the captaincy of Natalie Sciver-Brunt. The team boasts a strong lineup with experienced players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Katherine Sciver-Brunt, Lizelle Lee and Alana King, who have proven their mettle at the highest level and are expected to play a pivotal role for the team.

Meanwhile, the Southern Brave will be led by the veteran England pacer Anya Shrubsole. The team’s roster includes notable players such as Smriti Mandhana, Danni Wyatt and Chloe Tryon, all of whom have been regular fixtures in their respective national sides. They will be eager to make a mark in the Women’s Hundred 2023 and contribute significantly to their team’s success.
