Prime minister Liz Truss has paid tribute to Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a speech in the House of Commons.
Truss said that the Queen was “one of the greatest leaders that the world has ever seen” and “the rock on which modern Britain was built”
She also passed her condolences to the royal family in this difficult time, and went on to wish King Charles VI the Queen Consort the very best.
