Chasing a paltry target of 125, the match went down to the wire, where Mohammad Nawaz smashed a boundary on the final ball to get Pakistan over the finish line. Mohammad Rizwan and Haider Ali played crucial knocks to power Pakistan to victory.
Rizwan scored 40 off 43 balls with the help of two fours and a six, while Haider smashed 45 from 38 deliveries, including three fours and a couple of six. Captain Mahmudullah picked up three wickets while conceding 10 runs in one over.
Earlier, the hosts could only manage to score 124/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Mohammad Naim scored 47 from 50 balls with the help of four boundaries, including two sixes.
Mohammad Wasim was the pick of the bowler for Pakistan. He bagged a couple of scalps for 15 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Usman Qadir also picked up two wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs.
