Asked to bat first, England faced early setbacks as their top order struggled against a disciplined West Indies bowling attack. Chasing a rain-revised target of 188 via DLS method, West Indies showcased resilience and determination in their innings. Keacy Carty‘s brilliant half-century, scoring 50 runs off 58 balls, set the tone for the hosts. Alick Athanaze contributed a crucial 45 runs, anchoring the innings with seven boundaries.

Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, West Indies maintained their composure. Shepherd’s explosive 41 runs off 28 balls, including three fours and three sixes, played a pivotal role in steering the home team towards victory.
Jacks emerged as the standout performer for England in the bowling department, claiming three wickets for 22 runs. Gus Atkinson also made crucial breakthroughs, securing two wickets for 58 runs. However, West Indies managed to reach the target with four wickets in hand, securing the series win against England on home soil after 25 years.
