Record-breaking performance
Jaiswal’s innings was characterized by sheer dominance, as he showcased his aggressive batting prowess by smashing a record-equalling 12 sixes during his stay at the crease. With 14 boundaries to complement his sixes, the young Indian opener remained unbeaten at 214 runs when India declared their second innings at 430/4, setting England a daunting target of 557 runs.
