Notably, Kohli joined the Bangalore-based franchise at the age of 19 years in 2008 and has been part of the RCB family ever since. The 24-year-old Delhi cricketer will next be seen in action when RCB faces Mumbai Indians (MI) in their first match of the IPL 2023 on April 2.
Ahead of the marquee tournament, Kohli took to ‘Koo’ and posted an image of his class 10th marksheet, captioning the post: “It’s funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character.”

Kohli recently ended his century drought and made a sensational comeback across formats and would be looking to carry the form in the 16th edition of the IPL as well. As far as the ex-RCB skipper’s performance in a cash-rich league is concerned, he has amassed 6624 runs in 223 matches, including five tons so far.
The Faf du Plessis-led RCB had a decent run in the last year’s IPL season as they reached the playoffs of the tournament by finishing the league stage at the fourth spot in the points table. However, the Bangalore-based team faced a seven-wicket defeat at the hands of Sanju Samson captained Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the knockout game. Meanwhile, this year the star-studded RCB team would be eying to win their maiden IPL championship.
