Pakistan post 313 runs on the scoreboard in their first innings

Thanks to a resilient comeback by the Pakistani batters as the visitors recovered from 96/5 after opting to bat first.

Facing early setbacks with openers falling without scoring, Pakistan witnessed their skipper Shan Masood (35) and Babar Azam (26) unable to capitalize on their starts. However, the innings found stability through the contribution of wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, who scored an impressive 88.

Following a five-wicket haul by Australian captain Pat Cummins that had Pakistan struggling at 227/9, Aamer Jamal and Mir Hamza joined forces. Together, they orchestrated an 86-run partnership, guiding Pakistan to a total of 313 in their first innings.
