Nitish Reddy’s heroics propel SRH to a competitive total
Amidst early setbacks, Reddy emerged as the beacon of hope for SRH, delivering a scintillating performance. Reddy’s maiden IPL half-century, comprising 64 runs off 37 deliveries, provided the much-needed impetus to SRH’s innings. His aggressive strokeplay, adorned with four boundaries and five towering sixes, propelled SRH to a competitive total of 182/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
While SRH rode on Reddy’s brilliance, PBKS bowlers put up a commendable effort. Arshdeep Singh emerged as the standout performer, claiming four crucial wickets while conceding only 29 runs in his spell. Further, Harshal Patel and Sam Curran contributed with two wickets each, restricting SRH’s scoring opportunities and keeping PBKS’s hopes alive in the chase.
