David Warner (75 off 41) smashed an incendiary half-century and Mitchell Starc (4/20) registered his best T20I figures as Australia beat West Indies by 31 runs on Friday to clinch the two-match series 2-0.

Despite the absence of a few regulars, Australia reigned supreme and whitewashed the Men in Maroon. The Aaron Finch-led side won the first T20I by chasing down a total of 146 while in the second T20I, they successfully defended a target of 179.

Starc pulls off an ‘unbelievable’ catch

Steaming in bowling to Kyle Mayers in the first over of West Indies’ run-chase at the Gabba, Starc took a brilliant one-handed catch after the big-hitting opener cracked the ball back down the pitch.

Despite the ball being hit towards Starc’s right hand, the Australian pacer snaffled the catch with his left hand, grabbing it with incredibly quick reflexes.
