Ravindra Jadeja picks 3 wickets against Nepal
In a riveting encounter at the Asia Cup 2023, cricket fans witnessed a captivating battle between India and Nepal, where Ravindra Jadeja emerged as the hero for India with a sensational three-wicket haul. The Asia Cup clash took an unexpected turn as Nepal’s openers – Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh – gave their team an impressive start, momentarily stunning the Indian side.

Nepal, put in bat first, saw their openers put on a stellar partnership of 65 runs inside 10 overs, defying expectations and keeping the Indian bowlers at bay. However, the tide turned when Jadeja was introduced into the bowling attack.

In a remarkable display of spin bowling prowess, Jadeja claimed three crucial wickets in quick succession.

Ravindra Jadeja cleaned up Bhim Sharki

Jadeja’s first victim was Nepal’s no. 3 batter Bhim Sharki, who walked in to the crease after Shadul Thakur sent Bhurtel back to the pavilion for 38. Jadeja’s delivery turned sharply, beating the batsman’s defenses and crashing into the stumps.

His next two wickets came in consecutive overs, leaving the Nepal camp in disbelief. Jadeja’s second victim was Nepal captain Rohit Paudel, who was caught in the slips by Rohit Sharma. The ball turned and skidded outside off, finding the edge of Paudel’s bat. India skipper Rohit made no mistake in completing the catch.
