Rishabh Pant's impressive stumping gets rid of Abhinav Manohar in IPL 2024
In the exciting Match 32 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, the Gujarat Titans (GT) faced off against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the home ground of the Gujarat team. The match showcased a stellar performance by the DC bowlers, who dominated the GT batters right from the beginning, leading to a low-scoring total for the home team.

DC bowlers dominate

After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, Delhi Capitals started their attack with a strong bowling performance. Veteran Ishant Sharma struck early in the second over, removing GT skipper Shubman Gill and setting the tone for the match. As the wickets continued to fall, part-time bowler Tristan Stubbs also made an impact, dismissing Abhinav Manohar and Shahrukh Khan.

Rishabh Pant’s impressive stumping

One of the highlights of the match was the skillful display of wicketkeeping by the Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant. On the third delivery of the ninth over, Stubbs bowled a slider that beat the outside edge of the batter, Manohar. Pant was quick to react, breaking the stumps as Manohar attempted to drag his foot back. The zing bails lit up, and the third umpire ruled in favor of the fielding team.
