In the video, Iyer asked Siraj to choose a card from the deck. The seamer drew four of spades, which Iyer asked him to show it to Ruturaj Gaikwad, the camera and later to himself. The Mumbaikar then sandwiched the same card in Siraj’s hand.
Later, the 26-year-old Iyer magically replaced it with another card (a Joker), leaving the Hyderabad-born cricketer bewildered.
Hailing this trick, the BCCI captioned their video as: “Weaving some magic with a deck of cards & blowing everyone’s minds How’s this card trick from @ShreyasIyer15 that got @mdsirajofficial stunned!”

Iyer and Shreyas were part of the Indian team that won the T20I series against New Zealand. After India’s campaign ended on a low point in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, India bounced back by registering a clean sweep (3-0) over the Black Caps.
With this win, India captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid marked a superb start to their new role.
After the culmination of the T20I series, India and New Zealand will next be seen in action during a two-match Test series, starting from Thursday, November 25.
New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and all-rounder Kyle Jameson will return to the squad after taking a break from the white-bowl series.
