Kavya Maran was irritated with the cameraman
Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s owner Kavya Maran visiting the stadium to support her team is a common sight, and she’s often discussed on social media for her cute looks during the match. Although Kavya has been the focus of the camera for a while now, she was seen a bit irritated with the cameraman on Sunday (April 9) amidst her team’s match against Punjab Kings (PBKS).

SRH faced PBKS in the 14th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and emerged victorious in the contest by eight wickets. Notably, it was the Punjab-based side’s first defeat in the season.

Asked to bat first, PBKS got off to a shaky start and managed to score only 143/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan played a lone hand for his side and scored a brilliant 99 off just 66 balls, including twelve fours and five sixes. Except for skipper Dhawan, none of the other batters from the PBKS side could get going, and the team had to settle for an average total. However, the 37-year-old left-handed batter remained unbeaten for Punjab, saving his team from getting bundled out. Meanwhile, Mayank Markande was the pick of the bowlers for SRH, claiming four wickets for just 15 runs in his quota of four overs.

SRH owner Kavya was frustrated to see Dhawan standing rock-solid on one end, and the cameraman became the victim of her anger. After being shown on the big screen, she was captured telling the camera to go away by saying, “Hatt rey”. The video of Kavya’s reaction soon went viral on the internet.

Coming back to the match, SRH chased down the target comfortably for the loss of just two wickets in 17.1 overs. Rahul Tripathi was the star of the show for the Hyderabad-based team as he smashed blistering 74 off just 48 balls. Rahul hammered ten fours and three sixes during his knock and was well supported by his captain Aiden Markram who scored a crucial 37 off 21 balls. The duo finished unbeaten in the game and ensured their team easily reached the target.

On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh and Rahul Chahar picked up a wicket each for PBKS, but they were unable to stop the Hyderabad batters from scoring freely.
