Shai Hope and Rohit Sharma, WI vs IND ODI series
Rohit Sharma and Co. are all set to lock horns with West Indies in a three-match ODI series. The action-packed leg will commence from July 27. The first two matches will be held at Kensington Oval in Barbados, while the third and final ODI is scheduled at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.

It is worth mentioning that this ODI series comes after India’s successful outing against West Indies in a two-match Test leg, where the visitors emerged victorious with a 1-0 win.

Riding high on confidence after clinching the Test series, the Indian team will also be looking to carry their winning momentum into the white-ball format. However, they will miss the services of their star pacer Mohammed Siraj, who has been rested for the 50-over matches to manage his workload. Siraj’s sensational performance in the Test series played a crucial role in India’s success, and his absence will undoubtedly affect the team.

Speaking of West Indies, the Men in Maroon captain Shai Hope will shoulder the huge responsibility of leading his team’s resurgence in the ODI format and rebuilding the side after the massive setback of not qualifying in the ICC Cricket World Cup for the first time in history.
